SITE OF SANATORIUM WANGANUI, March 5. Ailegations that tlie selection of the site fdu'the sanatorium was "louded as far as I'almcrston Xorth was concerned ' were made at the Wanganui t'hamber of Commerce monthlv meeting. The prosident (Mr. A. H. McPhail) said lie was in contact with the secretary of the Wanganui Hospital. Board every secoud or tliird dav concerning sites. He had found one site whieh was cx'-ellent and connected with all services, and was close to town. The president of the Junior. giamber (Mr. B. E. A. Willianis-) said his group was still vitally interested in the selection of the site and had visited several tiicalities with the Wanganui Hospital Board s tuberculosis officer (Dr. A. W. ; Priest). The Wanganui Hospital Board 's representative 011 the- sanacorium cominittee, Mr. T. G. ICincaid, was due in Wanganui 011 Tuesday week to inspect several sites whieh had been suggested.
