NO IMPROVEMENT YET I BLENHEIM, March 5. Xo immediate improvement m the supply of confectionary and biscuHs can be expected by the Xew Zealaud pubiic for some time. This view was expressed by representatives of manufactumig lirms during the arinual con * ference of the Xew Zealaud Biseuit and Confectionery Manufacturers' Association, whieh concluded at the Portage, Marlboj-ough Souiuls, today. The prob lem of maintaining present supplies vvas described as acute, -due to the shortage of sugar an,d gljucose, whiJe tinplate for containers was also in short supply.
