D. Donaldson) at the monthlv meeting. The allegat ions concerned the system of comrol in Palmerston Xorth and a letter asked that, if Chambers of Commerce in other centres had similar experionces, lhey should snbmit evidence to the Associated Chambers. The communication claimed that businessmen were not getting Their share of the tyres being released./ '' What is claimed for Paliherston Xorth does not apply to Wanganui. We have nd eomplaints here and I can speak with some degree of authorit.y," said Mr. Donaldson. "Xo eomplaints as far as the'chamber is concerned," inl erposed another meniber amid laughter. Mr. Donaldson is a meniber of the Oi! Euel cominittee. The Oil Fuel ControJler, Mr. D. J. B Walker, who also aitended the meeting. had nothing to add.
