Runners and cyclists alike were on their toes at the Levin Club's weekly sports last evening in anticipation of the open meeting next Saturday. It was their last competitive trial and in consequence all the events were keenlj contested. Results were as follows: — ' 1 Senior half-mile cycle. — Skilton 1? Batten 2, Milroy 3; time 1-5 1-2 sec. Junior boys 75 yards. — Edwards (Otaki) 1. Nolan 2, Cameron 3; time 10 2-5 sec. Junior 100 yards. — Edwards 1. Harris 2, Sadler 3; time 11 1-5 sec Junior half-mile cycle. — Ellery 1 Parker 2, Judd 3; time 1-6 sec. Open 100 yards. — Clapcott 1, Walker 2, M. Gordon 3; time 10 2-5 sec. Junior ladies 75 yards. — B. Colr 1, J. Beatty 2, R. Thorniey 3; tinr 10 2-5 sec. Senior three rnile cycle. — Convery 1, Jones 2, Parker 3; time 7-46 sec Ladies 75 yards. — Cameron 1, Laing 2; time 9 1-5 sec. Junior 220 yards. — Harris 1, McMirin 2, Merrit 3; time 26 sec. Open - 220 yards. — M. Gordon 1, McKinley 2, Walker 3; time 24 sec. Ladies 100 yards. — Laing 1, Cameron 2; time 12 1-5 sec. Junior one mile cycle. — Ellery 1 Bignall 2, Hurley 3; time 2-24 sec Open 380 yards. — Sadler 1 Edwards 2, Goodwin 3; time 2-38 sec.
