Tributes were voiced by the pres- : ent president (Mr. J. K. Paton), Messrs J. Hodgens, M.P., John Bartholomew (Feilding), A. K. Dfew (Bulls), W. Clayton (Shannon), W. Dobson (Dannevirke) and | Rev. J. H. Datson (Foxton) . Mr. H. |P. Horne (Woodville) was entrusted I with the honour of presenting Mr. iNash with a double inkstand made j out of a totara knot and a cheque. I Mr. Nash suitably responded.
