METHODIST APPOINTMENTS

REV. G. R. HARRIS GOING TO HASTINGS At the Methodist conference, which concluded in Auckland on Friday, the appointment of Rev. G. R. Harris to Hastings was confirmed, and the Rev. H. S. Kings, at present a chaplain with the R.N.Z.A.F., was appointed to succeed Mr. Harris at Levin. They will take up their new appointments in April. Rev. H. L. Fiebig B.A., a former minister of Cuba Street Methodist Church, Palmerston North, has been appointed to be connexional secretary of the New Zealand Methodist Church, with headquarters at Christchurch. He succeeds the Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt, who has had to retire through ill health.
