Public Notices ’ NOTICE OF POLL DISTRICT OF WAIMAIRI PART OF BELFAST RIDING I HEREBY give notice that on Monday, the 7th day of April, 1986, the following poll will be held by Postal Vote to determine:— Whether the electors of that part of the Belfast Riding, In the Kalnga area, being all that area In the Canterbury Land District, Walmairi District, bounded by a line commencing at a point opposite the Intersection of the eastern boundary of R. 5.40940 with the northern boundary of Spencerville Road, being a point on the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage Board’s District; thence generally northerly and westerly to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of that R. 5.40940 to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Part Reserve 1250; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the Reserve to its intersection with the southern boundary of Kalnga Road; thence across that road to the intersection of the western boundary of R. with the northern side of Kalnga Road; thence northerly along the western boundary of R. 5.39264 a distance of 92.35 metres (as defined by 5.0.16461); thence generally westerly and southwesterly along the northern and north-west boundaries of Part R. 5.9650 (as defined by S. to its intersection with the eastern boundary of an unformed road; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that unformed road a distance of 122.63 metres (as defined by 5.0.16461); thence southwesterly by a right line to the intersection of the western boundary of the unformed road with the north-west boundary of Kalnga Road; thence generally westerly and south-westerly along the northern and north-west boundaries of Part Reserve 1360 (as defined by 5.0.16461) to its Intersection with the eastern boundary of an unformed road adjoining Part Reserve 2695; thence generally south-west along the southeast side of that unformed road to its intersection with a further unformed road; thence south-westerly by a right line to the Intersection of the south-east and western boundaries of the two unformed roads; thence southwesterly along the southeastern side of the unformed road adjoining Part Reserve 2695 to Its Intersection with the north-east boundary of the Main North Railway; thence in a south-easterly and easterly direction along the north-east and north boundaries of that railway to Its Intersection with the western boundary of R. 5.40940; thence generally southerly along that western boundary to its Intersection with the northern boundary of Spencerville Road; thence southerly from that intersection by a right line being a production of the eastern boundary of R. 5.40939 to its Intersection with the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage Board’s District; thence easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement, on whether the electors wish the area to become part of the Christchurch Drainage Board District.
