Telephone 518-169. sgrisa DOG REGISTRATION AND HYDATIDS CONTROL FEES 1986/87 PUBLIC NOTICE Is hereby given pursuant to the Dog Control and Hydatids Act 1982 that the Walmalrl District Council has by resolution fixed the following fees for dogs three months of age or over, within the boundaries of the district for the period April 1,1986 to March 31,1987. FEES PAYABLE ARE AS FOLLOWS A fee of $21.00 for all dogs, covering registration and hydatids control Is due and payable not later than April 1, 1986. All registrations after April 30,1986 will Incur a penalty of $5.00, Increasing the total fee to $26.00. REBATE A $3.50 rebate will be granted to all dog owners receiving a means tested social welfare benefit which is less than the National Superannuation on production of the State Benefit -certificate. This rebate relates to only one dog when two or more dogs are owned, and cannot be claimed by those receiving national superannuation. COLLARS A tag to attach to the existing collar will be supplied or a new collar can be supplied at an additional cost of $3.00. If the tag Is lost a replacement may be obtained at a cost of $l.OO. INFECTED DOGS In addition to the fee payable In respect of any dog, there shall be payable by the owner of the dog to the Council an additional fee of $20.00 If the dog has been diagnostically tested for hydatids and the purged material from the dog has been found on examination to contain hydatids. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP The previous owner and the new owner shall each within 14 days notify the Council Office In writing of a Change of Ownership and the residential address of the new owner. Death or loss of a dog must also be notified. ’ TRANSFER OF DOG Where dogs registered in one district are transferred to the district of another local authority, the owner is required to notify the Council Office In each district within 14 days of the new address at which the dog is to be kept. A new tag or disc shall be Issued free by the authority Into which the dog has transferred. P. W.
