She was* known as Sylvia Warner during, her childhood and at Wairarapa * High (1922-25). During 1926-27-as a pupil teacher in Wellington* she acquired the nicknames "Squeak,” which stayed with her at Auckland Teachers’ Training College (1928-29) and in the early years of her marriage. After 1932 she was usually known by her married name of Mrs Keith Henderson. She lived’ nt Whareorino and Mangahume, was infant mistress at Horoera (1938-40), Pipiriki (1941-44), Waiomatatini (1945-49), Fernhill (1950-55), and taught at Bethlehem in 1957. Apart from three years overseas (1971-73) she lived in Tauranga from 1957 until her death in 1984. Any recollections, impressions or memorabilia would be most welcome. — Yours, etc.,
