Jane Davidson, an employee of the C.S.A. Gallery, views three works from an exhibition by Mollie Atkins which runs to February 16. The prints and paintings in the exhibitions were inspired by brass rubbings that the artist made when she visited churches in England last year. The other paintings, prints and works of “Mixed Media” (using several materials together) also include one of Halley’s Comet as it was depicted on the Bayeaux Tapestry which was made after the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
