Streetworks
A board member, Mr R. B. Wright, said he wanted to see more emphasis on communicating with the City Council about its streetworks this year. “We should liaise more with the City Council about sealing,” he said. Streets the council had recently sealed were often dug up by the board for routine drainage work, and more communication could stop things being done “back to front.” “This work costs enough the first time without having to do it twice over,” Mr Wright said.
