Group to fight gondola?
Conveners of a public meeting called for this evening to oppose the gondola project on the Port Hills behind Heathcote Valley are confident of a good turnout. A spokesman said last evening that residents
were keen to form an action group to fight the proposal.
The meeting will be held in the Heathcote Valley Community Centre, Bridle Path Road, at 7.30 p.m.
