N.Z. darts player wins

NZPA staff correspondent London Timaru’s world women’s darts champion, Lilian Barnett, won the Mediterranean open singles in Spain during the week, she said in a telephoned message to NZPA in London.

Barnett, aged 43, won the world women’s masters title in- London in December. The message passed on by friends In London S&id she was third in the Mediterranean pairs and was knocked out in the triples semi-finals.
