LAKE SUMNER RECREATIONAL HUNTING AREA LAKE SUMNER RECREATIONAL HUNTING AREA, which is entirely contained within Lake Sumner Forest Park, has been managed for recreational hunting under the Wild Animal Control Act since 1981. Each recreational hunting area is managed under a wild animal control plan issued by the Director-General of Forests, and revised from time to time. , It is now Intended to revise the wild animal control plan for the Lake Sumner Recreational Hunting Area, for a three year period from April 1, 1986. Pursuant to S2B of the Wild Animal Control Act, 1977, the Conservator of Forests invites submissions or proposals for the hunting of the area from interested groups or individuals. Submissions should be sent to the Conservator of Forests, New Zealand Forest Service, P.O. Box 25022, Christchurch, to reach this address by February 28, 1986. (5) FIRST YEAR STUDENTS: Students enrolling at a New Zealand University for the first time MUST bring with them evidence, in writing that they have (1) Obtained the New Zealand University Entrance Certificate, or (ii) Been granted admission “ad eundem” by the University Grants Commltte, or (Hi) Been granted admission “ad eundem” by the University of Canterbury or (iv) Been granted “Special Admission” by the University of Canterbury. Also, if applying for a bursary: (v) Obtained Higher School Certificate, or (vl) Obtained Sixth Form Certificate, or (vii) Obtained Bursary or Scholarship examinsation. (6) TRANSFERS FROM ANOTHER NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITY: The enrolment of such students is provisional until their records are received from their previous University by the Registrar and found to be satisfactory. Students who have been declined enrolment in a previous University, or in any Department or Faculty of that University, or who are automatically debarred from re-enroll-ing, will not be enrolled at the University of Canterbury (Page a), 1986 University Calendar).
