A vacancy exists for a chemist to work in our Bitumen Section. The section is engaged in testing and evaluation of bitumen and related products, and in investigating developments in bitumen technology for applications in roadlng and other construction work. Duties include planning and development of testing programmes, and the assembly, analysis and reporting of test data. Applicants should hold a good degree in chemistry. Consideration will be given to well qualified applicants without previous experience who are interested in developing a knowledge of the application and testing of engineering materials.
