Maling bid
Tauras Corporation, Ltd, the Dunedin private investor that made a formal take-over bid for Maling and Company, Ltd, the Christchurch unlisted wine and spirits merchant, announced yesterday that it is reconsidering its offer. Because of the announcement that Mr W. J. Butterfield has given notice of his intention to make an offer for 90 per cent of the Maling capital at 830 c a share, the Tauras directors might increase their offer, they say.
