Tough hockey draw for N.Z.

NZPA staff correspondent London New Zealand will have to topple some of the favourites if it is to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup hockey touma-

ment in London this October. The draw for the 12nation tournament has placed New Zealand in the tougher of the two pools alongside the titleholder, Pakistan, and the

fancied English, Dutch and Soviet sides. Argentina, which lost to New Zealand in a West German tournament last year and at the cup qualifying tournament in Spain last October, is also

in the pool. Australia, West Germany, India and the qualifiers, Canada, Poland and Spain, will contest the second pool. The top two teams from each group will contest the semi-finals.
