Zoehrer takes over
NZPA-AAP Adelaide South Australia’s Wayne Phillips yesterday relinquished his position as Australian wicket-keeper to the West Australian, Tim Zoehrer, when he failed a medical and was ruled unfit to play in tomorrow’s first World
Series Cup final against India. After injuring a finger in the match against India last Friday, Phillips yesterday saw his Adelaide doctor, who advised him not to risk further damage by playing in tomorrow’s day-night clash at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
