Beau du Jour moves
The promising three-year-old, Beau du Jour, is. the latest addition to Jack Smolenski’s team at Weedons. The son of Plat du Jour and Lolette won two races last season from Brian Hill’s stables at Brightwater, with one of his best efforts being his second to Sir Alba in the Sapling Stakes at Ashburton. His winnings last term were $9BOO. Beau du Jour was placed in three of his six starts earlier this season and he had been spelling for six weeks before being sent to Smolenski, who does not expect to have him back in racing trim for some time.
