Girl, 14, held in vehicle
A girl, aged 14, was forced into a van and sexually molested while being driven round Christchurch for several hours late on Friday. She escaped early on Saturday morning and called the police. A police spokesman said the girl had been to an early-evening showing of a film at a theatre in Cathedral Square. A group of men forced her into a van as she left the theatre, and she was transferred to several other vehicles before she was able to get away. She was not seriously hurt physically.
