Work continues on the 11-storey hotel-motel building at the corner of Durham Street and Kilmore Street This is Durham Towers, one of two new hotels near Victoria Square. It is across Durham Street from the $35 million Parkroyal Hotel, which is being built next to the Christchurch Town Hall. Construction of Durham Towers by Williams Cosntruction, Canterbury, Ltd, is expected to be finished by the end of next January.
