N.Z.-India TV cover

PA Wellington Television New Zealand will now provide full live coverage of Sunday’s oneday cricket match between New Zealand and India in Launceston, Tasmania. Television’s controller of programming, Des Monaghan, said the increased coverage was in response to the enormous public interest in the outcome of the important match.

The match coverage

will begin at midday. New Zealand, beaten on Wednesday by Australia, must now beat India to get into the World Series Cup finals. If it does, TVNZ will cover the three matches in full. If India wins, only partial television coverage of the three games will be shown.

The finals will be played in Sydney on February 5, Melbourne on February 9 and, if a third match is required, in Sydney again on February 11.
