Rhonda Meads out of trials
PA Wellington The Waikato netballer, Rhonda Meads, has withdrawn from the trials in March to select the New Zealand side to play a triangular series with world champions Australia and Jamaica in May. Her place in the trials has been taken by the Auckland goal attack, Alison Wills, a
member of the Young Internationals side which will tour Canada next month.
Meads, whose towering presence has been used in the past by the New Zealand coach, Mrs Lois Muir, to combat the physical Jamaican game, has given the New Zealand Netball Association no reason for her unavailability.
