‘Westrek'
Sir,—May we congratulate and express our grateful thanks to all the people, clubs, and organisations of Westland in making "Westrek” an outstanding success for the Girl Guides Association. Staging an international event in a small provincial town, such as Reefton, was a major happening for the people of Westland, without whom we could not have succeeded. We trust that guiding in our province will be strengthened with ties made through “Westrek” and we can look forward to a renewed support in our guiding movement, throughout all levels from Pippins to Rangers. The success of any organisation relies on sound leadership and if anyone is interested in joining our movement we would welcome hearing from them. — Yours, etc.,
IRIS STANTON, Provincial Commissioner.
THELMA CREIGHTON, Provincial Secretary. January 22, 1986.
