ACCOUNTANT - MANAGER A leading N.Z. private group of companies based in Christchurch with substantial financial resources is seeking a qualified Accountant with sound accounting experience to implement the necessary accounting for its operations which encompass share investments for its portfolio and also entrepreneurial activities together with property development and property investments. It is necessary that the successful applicant will have had experience in the first mentioned fields or financial services area and at the same time have entrepreneurial potential and the ability to manage the groups resources. The objectives encompass further development of its present major activities together with the investigation and implementation of further opportunities in these fields. The furthering of a modern accounting system is a necessary requirement of the position. The age of the successful applicant is envisaged to be between the middle 20s and late 30s. A minimum commencing remuneration package of $50,000 p.a. together with further financial reward based on results brought to bear to the group will be negotiated.
