Applicants should have the major qualification In Physics and the subsidiary qualification or Interest In either Geology or Biology or Chemistry and should have a record of successful teaching experience at secondary or tertiary level preferably Including teacher education experience In a developing country. The science curriculum within the College is changing as more advanced programmes are established. A keen Interest in curriculum development will therefore be a definite advantage. Applications close on February 14, 1986. SALARIES Senior Lecturer, K 21.255 per annum plus gratuity. Lecturer Grade 2, K 19.405 per annum plus gratuity. Lecturer Grade 1, K 17.555 per annum plus gratuity. OTHER CONDITIONS The successful applicant will be normally offered a contract for a three year contract ending at the end of a semester. The gratuity entitlement Is based on 24 per cent of salary earned and Is payable In Instalments or lump sum and Is taxed at a flat rate of 2 per cent.
