(NON ROTATING SENIOR HOUSE OFFICERS, OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, National Women’s Hospital (from May 26,1986 - November 23, 1986) QUALIFICATIONS: Suitably qualified medical practitioners DUTIES: Appointment to the above positions will be Initially for a period of six months for doctors who wish to obtain such 'experience to enable them to prepare for the Diploma in Obstetrics. Consideration will however be given to extending the term of these appointments to doctors who wish to undertake the full training leading to the MRCOG examination. SALARY: $28,970 - $30,610. SENIOR CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (4 POSITIONS) KINGSEAT HOSPITAL QUALIFICATIONS: N.Z. registered Psychologist with M.A. In Pyschology (or equivalent) and minimum of 3 years practical experience at clinical psychologist level. Additional specialisation and experience in supervision and teaching would be advantageous. DUTIES: Primarily clinical. A consultative role In a team or area of attachment Is also expected together with supervisory caseload within the Psychology department teaching and training duties. Experience In supervision and proven ability In a team leadership would be advantageous. 4. Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence. DUTIES: Lead a team of social workers at each hospital. SECTION OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST COSTLEY GERIATRIC UNIT AUCKLAND HOSPITAL QUALIFICATIONS: N.Z. registered Occupational therapist with at least two years clinical experience and preferably with experience in geriatric rehabilitation. DUTIES: Responsible to the Charge Occupational Therapist for the supervision of patients’ treatment and staff in this unit. DUTIES: Responsible for administration of Physiotherapy Department and supervision of patient care in geriatric and obstetric wards and in ante-natal service. SECTION PHYSIOTHERAPIST DISTRICT PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICE SOUTHERN UNIT EXTRAMURAL HOSPITAL QUALIFICATIONS: N.Z. registered Physiotherapist with at least 3 years post registration experience with an emphasis on up to date skills in the treatment of respiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Demonstrated management skills and leadership ability are desirable. DUTIES: Maintain a clinical caseload, supervise the work of. visiting therapist and generally be responsible for the planning and administration of the visiting therapy service. SECTION PHYSIOTHERAPIST Outpatient Department MIDDLEMORE HOSPITAL QUALIFICATIONS: N.Z. registered Physiotherapist with at least 2 years post qualification experience with an emphasis on up to date skills in outpatient treatment. DUTIES: Be responsible for Physiotherapeutic services in the outpatient service. SALARY: In accordance with H. 5.17. CLOSING DATE: Friday, February 7, 1986. 10. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL NURSE PAEDIATRIC SERVICE AUCKLAND HOSPITAL QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse. Proven experience in clinical nursing and management essential. Degree, Diploma or other postbasic qualification would be advantageous. Experience in general and specialist paediatric nursing, infection control and general administrative services.
