This Division is one of four product marketing operations. It handles export sales of New Zealand's $BOO million of butter, milk, cream and other dairy fat based products to more than 100 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply, marketing, new product development and sale of more than 250,000 tonnes per annum. In addition to international trading there is a strong emphasis on developing a range of consumer products and downstream marketing through a network of subsidiary and joint venture offshore companies. This is a critical role for New Zealand's export economy. The location is Wellington City. REQUIREMENTS • Proven experience in managing a moderately sized New Zealand company or successfully running a significant profit centre of a major company. • Drive, vigour and initiative to manage a complex domestic and international marketing operation. • An aggressive marketing/sales outlook preferably with experience in exporting. • Evidence of strong leadership qualities and ability to plan and develop effective strategies.
