Theatre group
Sir, — In "The Press” on Friday you printed a photograph of the Splinta Theatre Group. The figure, “Exploitation” was incorrectly labelled “Capitalism.” I do not believe that exploitation is limited to capitalism alone; therefore the two words are not symonymous. Exploitation is unfortunately not a phenomenon only of the Right, but often of the Left as well. I feel that it is necessary to correct this error since we, as a group, do not aim to point the finger at any specific faction, but merely to heighten the awareness of people to current social issues. — Yours, etc., JANE RIDDIFORD, “Exploitation,” Splinta Theatre Group. July 3, 1983.
