PA Auckland Jahangir Khan, the World and British Open champion, will head the Pakistan squash team in its bid to retain the world teams’ title in New Zealand in October. The 19 countries competing are required by the middle of this month to name a squad of five for the event. The Pakistanis sent a
10-man list yesterday in the following order: Jahangir Khan, Qamar Zaman, Hiddy Jahan, Gogi Alauddin, Daulat Khan, Maqsood Ahmed, Sohail Qasar, Atlas Khan, Umar Hyat and Sahim Gul. The bottom five players could be the Pakistanis who will play in the preceding world individual championship.
