Skellerup up again
Skellerup Industries gained a further 7c to close at 375 c on an otherwise easier, moderately active New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. The share price of the Christchurch rubber products group has been steadily improving this year, after opening in January at 255 c. Although the N.Z.U.C. industrial index lost 3.16- points, market leaders were prominent in both the rises and falls. Fletcher Challenge was firmer, N.Z. Forest Products was steady, and Wattie was easier. The mining and oil sector came under profit-taking. NZ Oil and Gas fell 6c to 91c, and other energy-related issues were also easier. The exception was Bridgevale, which firmed lc to 17c.
