Wind helps Kangas

Kangas made good use of the wind in the last quarter of their Australian rules match against Avon at Wainoni Park on Sunday to win by 15 points. Kangas scored 75 points (11 goals, nine behinds) to Avon’s 60 (nine goals, six behinds). C. Major, M. Lanyon and S. Adamson were the best players for Kangas, and Avon’s leading trio were G.
