Two die during India tour
NZPA New Delhi An American official and an Indian photographer in the entourage of the visiting American Secretary of State, Mr George Shultz, have been killed in a road accident, the police confirmed yesterday. . The photographer died instantly and Charles Soper, aged 43, died of injuries after the accident when their car was in collision with a truck near Mathura, about 150 km south of Delhi. Meanwhile, the United States has pledged to supply components for an Indian nuclear reactor if India cannot get them anywhere else, removing an irritant in relations between the two countries.
