Engineering Manager Maintenance Control Southland Frozen Meat Limited SFM is one of New Zealand’s major meat processing companies and its freezing works at Mataura and Makarewa process about half of Southland’s sheep and lambs. This position is on the company’s Invercargill Head Office staff. The company wishes to appoint an experienced, qualified engineer at a high level in the company structure to be responsible for the further development and implementation of repair and .maintenance programmes in the two works. Programmes cover both the services and processing sides of the works’ operations, i.e., compressors, boilers, refrigeration plant as well as a range of processing equipment, conveyors, control systems etc. In carrying out the special responsibilities of the position the appointee will operate closely with works’ chief engineers.
