Radio appointment

PA Wellington Radio New Zealand has announced the appointment of Brent Harman, aged 32, as the new station manager for Radio Bay of Plenty, Tauranga. Mr Harman replaces Mr Chris Turver, who was recently appointed controller of news, current affairs and sport. Mr Harman goes to Tau-

ranga after being station manager of 2ZM in Wellington. He joined Radio New Zealand as a journalist in the Parliamentary Press Gallery in mid-1975. Earlier Mr Harman had worked with both the New Zealand Press Association and South Pacific News Service on the Press Gallery.
