Dr Turbott interviewed on radio
The Sharon Crosbie interview on the National programme at 2 p.m. on Sunday will be with Dr H. B. Turbott. who for the last 60 years has been actively involved in the health of New Zealanders. Best known as the “Radio Doctor,” he has worked in China, England and Western Samoa, and has been both president and chairman of the executive board of the United Nations’ World Health Organisation. Dr Turbott will look back at some of the highlights of his medical career, in this repeated broadcast.
