Army head to pay visit

The New Zealand Army’s Chief of General Staff, Major-General R. G. Williams, will visit Christchurch and Burnham Army units next week. General Williams will be accompanied on the visit by the Commander of the Third Task Force Region, Colonel M. J. Dudman. General Williams will arrive in Christchurch on Monday and visit the headquarters at King Edward Barracks. Later that day he will travel to Burnham Military Camp and spend the next day and a half visiting units there.
