Kenya probe
NZPA-Reuter Nairobi The Kenyan Minister of Constitutional Affairs, Mr Charles Njonjo, was suspended from the Cabinet yesterday after allegations that he was plotting to topple President Daniel Arap Moi with the help of a foreign Power. Mr Moi said that Mr Njonjo had been suspended pending an official probe into the allegations, the source of Kenya’s deepest political crisis since an abortive coup last August. Mr Njonjo is alleged to have business interests in South Africa and millions of dollars in foreign bank accounts.
