The widow and son of the Italian banker, Roberto Calvi, outside the City ot London coroners court after a Coroner’s jury had recorded an open verdict on Mr Calvi’s death. Mr Calvi s body was found hwing from Blackfriars Bridge in London on June 18 last year. A first Coroner’s inquest in July recorded a suicide verdict, but in March of this year that judgment was overturned after an appeal by Mr Calvi’s family, which alleged that he was murdered.
