Juvenile for Aust.
The promising two-year-old pacer, Valerian’s Gift, which provided a star turn by qualifying in 3min 12.9 s for 2400 m at Addington this month, has been sold by his Broadfield owner and breeder, Michael de Filippi, to Mr Ron Wanless, of Brisbane. The gelded son of Valerian and Averil Tryax, closely related to the former cup-class pacer, Rocky Tryax, left for Australia on Monday.
