Mainzeal bid
PA Auckland The directors of Mainzeal Corporation, Ltd, have rejected the take-over offer from Noisel Enterprises, Ltd, and recommended acceptance of the McConnell Dowell Corporation, Ltd,
offer, subject to certain undertakings.
The Mainzeal directors say that, in making their recommendation to shareholders, they acknowledge the possibility that further offers may be received. In that case, they say, a further recommendation would be made. The directors of Mainzeal add that, as a result of advice received from an independent accountant engaged for the purpose, they consider the offer made by Noisel Enterprises is not adequate and they recommend that shareholders should not accept it.
