Women’s squash
Kathy Hargreaves (Burnside), one of the top veteran players in New Zealand, is the No. 1 seed for the annual Urban Sports Apparel women’s open squash tournament at the Christchurch club courts this week-end. Also seeded are the former Auckland B representative, Jenny Oakley (St Andrew’s), Julie Quinn (Linwood), and Wendy Thompson (Lancaster Park). Mary Hunt (St Andrew’s), Donna Church and Raewyn Young (both Linwood) are other leading players in the draw of 16.
