League looks at tourism
The North Otago Progress j League is considering ways ' to promote the Mackenzie i Basin and Waitaki Valley areas as tourist attractions. A steering committee, headed by Mrs P. Mitchell, of Twizel, has been formed ; to come up with proposals i aimed at revitalising the Waitaki branch of the National Travel Association or an alternative body to coordinate promotion.
