‘Boredom a problem’
PA Wellington Boredom might be one of the greatest problems for the New Zealand peace-keeping force in the'Sinai Desert, the commander of -the New Zealand contingent, Wing Commander Noel Rodger, has said. “For this reason there will be ample provision of sports
grounds and strong emphasis on sports and competitions. There will also be canned television,” he said. The 30-member New Zealand contingent is expected in Sinai, at the Eitam airfield base, by March 20. Wing Commander Rodger will fly in advance this week.
