Importing of radios

PA Wellington From March 1, import licences for portable radios would be issued to anyone who applies to the nearest Collector of Customs, the Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr Templeton) has said. He said a shortage of the radios had been caused by an almost total phasing out of New Zealand manufacture. Mr Templeton made it clear he was not referring to car radios, cassette radios, mantel radios, headphone radios, or clock radios.
