French satisfied
NZPA Papeete A visiting French all-party Parliamentary delegation has expressed full satisfaction with security conditions under which nuclear testing is done on Mururoa Atoll. The delegation left last evening for Sydney to brief Australian Government officials on their visit. "We came to see how nuclear tests were carried out. We interviewed security services officials and got answers reassuring on all points." said Mr Louis Darinot, a Socialist member of Parliament, yesterday. The visit to Tahiti followed up a recent official statement that radioactivity was released from an iinder- - ground waste dump on Mururoa during a storm last March.
