Carter leads
Bob Carter, the Sydenham all-rounder, still leads'the Lion “player of the day” competition after the twoday game at the week-end. His lead is being challenged though by the Lancaster Park bowler, David Trist, who had another outstanding match, taking eight wickets and lifting him to within 50 points of Carter. It was Carter’s last match at the week-end and so Trist has two more playing days to boost his total by 51 points to head Carter.
