March Forward put down
The Riccarton trainer, Ivan Thomas, had the misfortune to lose the. highly promising filly, March Forward, late last week. The daughter of Imperial March and. Sobralia suffered serious injuries, including a fractured hind leg, when hit by a truck in Epsom Road when being led to the track by her trainer. March Forward, . which cost Mr and Mrs Tony Mullen, of Wellington, $5OOO at. the National Yearling Sales at Trentham last year, had only three starts for a firstup second at Reefton last month and two victories on her home course this month.
