Last Concorde
The last Anglo-French Concorde to roll off the production line at the British Aerospace complex at Filton, near Bristol, has made its maiden flight. The flight by Concorde 216 meant the end of an era. The British Government has decided to build no more Concordes after the 16 in the Anglo-French project, which has cost Britain nearly £BOOM ($1360M) in development and production.—London.
