Full round of soccer
A full round of both the Midland Coachlines Soccer League and the qualifying league competitions will be played tomorrow —- in addition to a round of the Rothmans League competition. The southern league matches, which were set down as round six, have been brought forward from May 12 while the qualifying round has been advanced from Saturday, when most teams in the league will be involved in the Adidas Chat-
ham Cup preliminary round. One qualifying league game, between Halswell United and Timaru City, will not be played until Saturday, as both teams have a bye through to the next round of the Cup. Two ground changes have been made for the southern league games. Woolston W.M.C. will now meet Rangers at Garrick Park while Technical will play Papanui W.M.C. at Nunweek Park. The other games are
Caversham v. Western in Dunedin, Cashmere-Wande-rers v. Shamrock at Somerfield Park and Green Island v. North End United in Dunedin. In addition, Trans Tours United will meet Newmans Nelson United at Queen Elizabeth II Park tomorrow afternoon, and the chances of a sizeable holiday crowd might be hampered by the other matches around the city.
